How to Help
All contributions to Hogar Alegría are tax deductible and deposited into our charitable non-profit, 501(c)(3) Hogar Alegría-PDX account with Wells Fargo Bank. As funds are needed at Hogar Alegría, they are transferred to the organization’s account at Banco Popular Dominicano in Neiba, D.R., converted to Dominican pesos, and are then available for use by Hogar’s local administrator.
We know there are many needs globally and many outstanding charitable organizations that are working hard to alleviate the sufferings of the world. We are grateful to you for considering the needs of the ‘ancianos’ (elders) in Neiba. As they would say – “bendiciones a ustedes” – “blessings to you.”
